You will be picked up at your hotel in Hurghada in an air-conditioned vehicle and taken on a day trip to Luxor. Along the way you can admire the fantastic scenery as you drive on a winding road along the coast of the Red Sea through the mountains and the Arabian Desert to the Nile Valley. Here you can see local farmers at work and marvel at the fields, canals, and water wheels. Visit the Karnak Temple, one of the largest temple complexes in the world, and enjoy a tour of the remaining columns, obelisks, and statues. Enjoy the sight of the temple as well as sacred lakes and chapels. After lunch at a selected restaurant in Luxor, travel to the other bank of the Nile River and to the City of the Dead. Here you can admire the impressive Colossi of Memnon, the only remains of the temple of Amenhotep III. Visit the Valley of the Kings and be inspired by the magnificent architecture. At the end of the tour head to the Temple of Hatshepsut, the only female ruler of Egypt.
