it was great fun although the ride on the camel was just a few minutes sample… they ask you for tips continuously so you feel obliged to give something… they take pictures which is great but you have to pay quite a lot for them. and the quad ride was good but no freedom to ride on your own even for a few minutes.

The day started off with a prompt pick up from outside the hotel, and straight into a jeep to begin the journey. Everyone was soon in fits of laughter as the journey in the jeep across the desert became a bit of a bumpy one! This was loads of fun, feeling almost like a roller-coaster ride round the desert. There were 2 small children in the jeep and they were fine with this, so don’t be put off! Then straight on to the quad bikes.. Where you get all the accessories provided, including goggles, helmet, and a scarf as the sand flies everywhere when you’re driving around! This was a great experience, and the quad bikes very simple to drive. Then on to the Bedouin village, where there was a very nice camel surprise! A short camel ride into the desert. A sand art designer who creates personalised momentos (glass bottles with your name printed, and various multicoloured sand scenes of your choice!) Very clever stuff. Spider car ride, Bedouin village mini zoo, dinner, show! Fun packed day

We had a very great time during this quad tour in the Sahara. In the morning, we have been picked up last and dropped off first after the tour. Whether you are this lucky depends on your hotel location. The transfer in a typical safari pick-up was good and convenient. The instructions at the tour starting point were quickly done and comprehensible. Note that you should bring your on scarf. Safety googles cost 2€ which are highly recommended! Driving the quads really is fun, even though you are obliged to stay in the line behind the guide. After 25-30 km we reached the Beduine village, where we were rushed to ride camels only a few hundred meters. Thus, this part was kind of disappointing, but might be a nice experience if it will be your first time sitting on a camel. Furthermore, the Beduines asked us to buy something in their tent, which also can be uncomfortable. Nevertheless, visiting the village and experiencing the desert’s endless vastness is definitely worth booking this tour!
